Primitive Beer

The mission of Primitive Beer is to offer small batch fermentations created by a blend of rustic Belgian brewing techniques and modern ingredients. In doing so, we will produce original flavor/aroma profiles that are thought provoking yet approachable. We aim to offer a continuously evolving product that showcases native microflora, locally sourced fruits, modern hop cultivars, and the cohesion of flavors only possibly through a meticulous barrel-aging and blending program. Our 100% oak-fermented and aged beers will include a range of spontaneous, open, and wild fermentation techniques, resulting in styles such as American Coolship Ales, India Wild Lagers, and American Sours influenced by both neutral oak and spirit barrels.
